Question: I have a big red and black bump on my right inner thigh and it is about the size of a silver dollar and hurts.

I have reviewed the information provided and the image. Unfortunately, the image is magnified and may give a wrong appreciation of the severity of this lesion. If you could provide another image, I would be grateful.

From the image, this represents an active infection. I think we would need antibiotics to be able to fully control this infection and prevent it from spreading any further as the borders are visibly red. Also, this bump needs to be opened for the content to flow out as it looks to contain infected material.

For now, apply ice packs and take Tylenol to relief the pains. Make the necessary arrangements to get this looked at. I will also appreciate another image to make sure my readings are correct.
