Brief Answer:
Neurological examination and imaging studies are necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Sensitivity changes such boil sensation are commonly noticed in conditions such pinched nerve, nerve damaged by trauma ( falls for example ), compression of the nerve during its pathway, etc.

It is necessary to get evaluated by a Neurologist who can evaluate the distribution of the boil sensation, any skin changes, any additional symptoms, and signs, etc.

He can also ask for further examinations such MRI, nerve conduction study, in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Treatment depends on the diagnosis and includes mainly antineuralgic drugs.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
