Brief Answer: please follow your ent doctors advice Detailed Answer: Hello Please dont worry as this is a common problem. There can be two reasons for the recurrent swelling First one is a recurrent parotid swelling and infection which is common in children and will generally resolve by ten years of age. Second one which is more common is swelling and Infection of the lymph nodes in the neck and this is generally due to an infection in the tonsils or teeth and for this you should follow your ent doctors advice. The endoscopy will help find the source of infection and once that has been established., your child can be treated accordingly. Please follow his advice! Thanks
