What Causes Recurrent Headache And Loose Stools?

Question: I had a ct scan yesterday and had to drink redi cat 2. I have had a headache on the right side of my head since early this morning that comes and goes. Is that normal. I also had loose stools about 3 hours after drinking that stuff. My doctor called me this morning and gave me the results of my ct scan of abdomen and pelvis. But this headache is still coming and going.

I am so sorry to hear about this headache and the loose stools you have experienced since using this product. Loose stools are a well documented side effect of this product. Headaches have not been that often described but remains a possibility as headache is a very common and non specific symptom that may indicate a disease or just nothing to worry about beyond the annoying pain. I will suggest you try resting, adequate fluid intake and some paracetamol for these headaches. If there should not be a marked reduction in the intensity of the headaches after doing this for 24hours, I will recommend that you get consulted just in case this is more than a simple headache.
