What Causes Recurrent Fever?

Question: Hi, my daughter is suffering from fever for the past two days. She was shown to a doctor who has prescribed crocin 650, relent od, aziwok 500. The fever is coming down after taking crocin but only for 5 to 6 hrs. Please suggest what shd I do.

Thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
It takes couple of days for infection to settle down.
Give medicine as prescribed.
Give calpol 6hourly if fever is above 100F
Give plenty of fluids and soft bland diet so as to maintain hydration and nutrition..
In case fever continues to be there get her re evaluated by pediatrician as some investigations like urine exam,complete blood count will be needed.
