Brief Answer:
Get Thyroid under control.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

Hypothyroidism is a common cause of CTS and swelling over the body.

Since you are taking 100 microgram of Thyroxine per day, you must be having Overt Hypothyroidism.

So, get a repeat thyroid profile done and get treated properly.

There is another modality of treatment for CTS. We inject steroid injection locally in a particular way, which reduces the swelling due to CTS and relieves the pressure on the nerves.

You can ask your neurologist for the same.

In case you also have joint pains, stiffness, oral ulcers, frequent reddening of eyes , let me know.

Hypothyroidism is related to cardiac issues but the problem you are telling is not due to cardiac issues.

I personally feel, in your case the Steroid injection therapy and control of hypothyroid state would be the best treatment.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
