Brief Answer:
You need further investigations.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Bleeding per rectum is due to piles.
Pain in the left lower side of abdomen can be due to Left Ureteric stone. As your Ultrasound report is normal, this is excluded.
Next possibility is large bowel disease. It could be irritable bowel syndrome or polyp inside colon.
Please consult your doctor and get a Colonoscopy.
If it is normal except piles, then you can go for surgery.
Some amount of mucus can come from anus normally.
Hope I answered your query.
If you come back with Colonoscopy report, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

Brief Answer:
polyp doesn't mean cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Polyp in the colon is not always cancer.
But, it has to be excluded by Colonoscopy only.
Colonoscopy can be normal.
But, as you gave bleeding per rectum, it is better to get Colonoscopy even though piles are present.
Hope I answered your query.
