Brief Answer: Vascular lesion is suggested Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic. A red / purple colored blister on the lower lip could be a vascular lesion. There are many benign vascular lesions which can present in similar manner. Vascular ectasia, hemangioma, or simply collection of blood could lead to formation of red / purple colored lesion. You need to consult a surgeon for clinical examination. An excision biopsy may be carried out. An excision biopsy samples the lesion completely and it can be done in cases where the size of the lesion is small. Excision biopsy will be curative in case of benign lesion. If you have more queries I will be glad to answer. Dr Shailja P Wahal
