What Causes Prolonged Menstruation, Hormonal Imbalance PCOS?
Question: Hi Doctor My period has not been stopped since 11 days.I have been using Trapic MF tablet since 4 days clotting has been reduced (which means only in the early morning after waking up and in the night they are there ) but period did not stop.Its not heavy bot bleeding didnt stop.I had a compalint of PCOS previously but recently around 3 months back i had a same problem but styptont didnt decrease my flow i used harmone for 21 days which immediately stopped my flow after 1 tablet which was confirmed a sharmonal imbalance.As at that time USG results were clear where there were no cysts. I got my period on Oct -9 still continuing.On October 5th before period came my FSH-4.3 and LH-2.2, Haemoglobin 11.2,Thyroid was negative. My age is 26 years and my weight is 76 kgs.Can you please let me know if I reduce my weight will my periods become regular?And please tell me whether i can go for Deviry or Krimson -35 as of now to stop my periods as I am using ayurvedic medicine now.They suggested to go to english medicine to first stop this period.

Hi,
Trapic MF is a good tablet to stop periods, you already noticed clotting that is good sign. Tranexa (trapic) should be 500mg, thrice a day for 5 days as a course. Just continue it for one more day.
To answer your other questions
1) Weight loss by 10% i.e to 67 kg is the surest and best way to regularize the periods.
2) Deviry and Krimson 35 may not be the best medicine. You should take them once the periods are stopped after consulting your doctor
3) The Ayurvedic medicine, I do not know how it works as I practice modern medicine. Surely ayurvedic medicine can interact with other medicines that you take may nullify the affect of modern medicine. So I suggest you to discontinue.
4) You should go for Oral contraceptive pills like KRIMSON for three months to regularize the periods. An option you can consider discussing with your doctor.
