Brief Answer:
Probably there is some nerve compression.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting your query.

From the symptoms that you have, it seems that there is some compression of nerves most probably in your neck which is leading to this problem.

Whenever there is nerve compression somewhere it leads this kind of sensation in the area that it supplies.

When you get up,it is possible that pressure might be getting relieved so that you symptoms disappear and you feel better.

The reason for never compression could be many like disc problem(the cushion between the vertebra), some muscular problem etc.

It is advisable that you visit your primary care physician and get yourself examined.

In mean time if you are taking large pillow or sleeping on round pillow please reduce the size to moderate.

Avoid sleeping in bad posture.

After examination your doctor may advise X ray, blood sugar and other investigations as per need.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Dr.Pragnesh
