Question: My grandson has some petechiae spots on face but has normal platelet and blood test. Taking no medicine at this time. He is five years old.

The most important part of your description is the normal platelet count. As long as that remains, there is nothing to worry about. Petechiae on the face can occur as a result of coughing, or a harsh sneeze, or without a preceding action. With the normal lab results, there is no concern. The petechiae will soon be reabsorbed and disappear from the face.
