Sir i am always facing cold issue with body and headache last 3-4 yeasrs please suggest what i can do???

Brief Answer: need more details Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and please furnish the following details 1. since suffering from recurrent cold issues do let me know about your IMMUNE status i. do you get frequent infections? ii. did you suffered from any immunity related disease ( present or past) 2. Any ENT opinion for Sinusitis since can be one cause for colds anf headaches. 3. disturbed blood sugar, underactive thyroid, low hemoglobin, DLC (low neutrophils) can predispose to attacks of cold, were you evaluated for the same? 4. uric acid problem Is due to: . increased production (serum uric acid value) OR DUE TO . reduced excretion ( serum creatinine value) Dr. Munish Sood

Brief Answer: Prophylactic Aspect Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX Thanks for reverting back with your concern and Doctor's Opinion. 1. Avoid: Heavy, slimy and acidic food, curd, mustard oil, excess physical exertion, sunlight-dust areas, exposure to strong winds, day sleeping, smoking, Potato, green leafy vegetables. Cold water/food Take: Old brown rice, soup of moong dal, black grapes, cow’s or goat milk, garlic, lukewarm water to drink, black pepper, dried ginger, honey, mulethi, launga 1. Steam Inhalations 3-4 times a day. 2. avoidance of allergens [dust/cold drinks] 3. mix 1 spoon ginger juice 1 spoon honey 1 pinch nutmeg [जायफल] powder and take for 1 month 4. Diet rich in vitamin C (Citrus fruits) and vitamin E (sunflower seeds, almonds,apricots,peanuts) is/are rich in anti oxidants and thus helps in improvement of Thymus function (associated with Immunity.) 5. i. Vitamin A: helps to maintain Thymus gland which is a powerful antiviral gland: thus mango, carrots, cantaloupe (विलायती खरबूजा), egg yolk, apricots, pumpkin, papaya, are ideal. ii. Vitamin C: is needed for proper functioning of immune system: amla (आमला) is best iii. Vitamin E: is a powerful anti oxidant which helps to stimulate antibody production: peanuts, dried apricots, cooked spinach (शलगम) taro root (अरबी) can be taken iv.
