Question: My kid 4 yrs old vomitted 3 times from 8 pm.. can I give vomikind paediatric use syrup?
She is not having fever...pleas guide.. she vomittwd twice in between when she was sleeping..

Vomikind contains ondensetron an anti-emetic.
Each 5 ml of vomikind contains 2 mg.
For such age I usually prescribe 5 ml two to three times a day depending on the severity.
Sometimes vomiting persists even after giving oral medication due to its poor absorption. In such cases injectable medicine may be needed.
If vomiting persists or you find any abnormality like irritability, lethargy, decreased urine frequency, severe pain abdomen, fever or loose motion etc. please consult your pediatrician immediately.
