Question: My wife (31 years) is having persistent stomach ache in the form of shooting pain frequently. She took Norflox-TZ (2 tablets) but there is no relief so far. Can you advise what could be the best remedy?

Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Abdomen pain is usually spasmodic type pain. She may have to be given antispasmodic medication like Buscogest. Norflox TZ is an antibiotic, given only in case of confirmed infection.

Also, if the pain continues for more than 4 days, get an USG scan done to rule out any intrabdominal problems.
