What Causes Partial Phimosis?

default
Posted on Mon, 4 May 2015
Question: The foreskin is fusing to the penis head. The problem is not Phimosis.
Have been at urologist who tore loose foreskin and prescribed Brentacort iontment.
This is not solving the problem but has made the skin on the penis head thinner.
By recommendation from the urologist I’m taring back the skin with approximately 14 days interval. This is painful and not a durable situation. What can I do? I would prefer no to be circumcised. Is there a solution?

Brief Answer:
Taring of foreskin will not resolve the issue at all.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have partial Phimosis.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Are you diabetic?

Taring of the foreskin will not help at all it will rather cause scarring of the torned foreskin resulting into complete Phimosis.

The only best and permanent option is to get circumcised .

This is a simple surgery done under local anaesthesia as a out patient procedure and offers permanent cure .

The other option is to cut the foreskin on dorsal side (Dorsal Slit) However this will alter the look of your penis head .It is cosmetically not accepted by many patients.

You can discuss it with your Urologist.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Tank you for the ansvare,

My condition in not Phimosis and I'm not diabetic. My general health condition is fine. I have no diagnose and I don't take any medicine. I can fully retract the forskin the first week after tearing but it slowly fuses back to the penis head.
Is there any ointment I can use that prevent the fusion that not have any other unwanted consequence?

Thanks
