What Causes Painful Sores On The Anus?

Question: I have sores that feel more like a wart around my rectum. Very painfull when cleaning uo after bowel movement. i have had hemorrhoids for many years but have never had these sores. Are these from the rhoids.

Painful sores at the anus are usually due to fissure in ano and the wart like things are sentinel piles secondary to fissures.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Laxatives for smooth motion.
Consult a Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and give you a prescription based antibiotic, metronidazole if the Doctor feels so.
Take probiotics and high fiber diet.

This will help for proper diagnosis and management.
