If you are experiencing pain while swallowing this could be due to temporarily inflammed or

tonsillitis can lead to such symptoms.
Sometimes allergic reactions, irritation from low humidity, smoking, air pollution can cause swelling and pain.
Injury to the throat with food products, infection from the tooth, mouth infections can cause difficulty in swallowing.
Stomach acids that back into the throat they may be due to gasteroesophageal reflux disease.
-Complete examination by an
ENT Specialist and a
Dentist is required.
-Pain relief you can take some NSAID like ibuprofen 200mg BD.
- At home go for symptomatic treatment like gargle with lukewarm saline
water to give a soothing effect use antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
-Drink plenty of warm fluids like tea, soups and water.
-Take throat lozenges.
-Avoid exposure to allergens like smoking and chemicals.
