Brief Answer:
Possibly gastritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX

Welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern.

Most likely the pain that you are having is due to mild swelling of rib cage or muscle strain which could increase on movement or on pressure.
Well if the pain is under left rib case worthwhile getting an ecg done one though very unlikely at your age.

If it's in central it could be due to acidity which can be aggravated by alcohol intake but usually associated with burning or reflux and gets relieved by antacid like pantoprazole. If pain is under right rib cage and severe going to back may indicate and gall bladder stone pathology which looks unlikely too.

Can try taking mild analgesic like paracetamol along with antacid and do discontinue alcohol for few weeks and see how you feel.

Hope this answers your questions. Happy to help.

Best wishes.
