2 possibilities

Detailed Answer:
There are two possibilities that come to my mind when I read your query
1. migraine
2. cluster headache.

I will like to know the exact duration of the headache.
And were there any other symptoms before headache started?
Was this the firs headache ever?
Any other comorbidities?
Your age?

Please let me know these details

Brief Answer:
try sumatriptan, get mri

Detailed Answer:
It really sounds like a cluster headache.
However since its a first episode, I would suggest an MRI brain to make sure there is no space occupying lesion.
Meanwhile try using sumatriptan tablets for headache

best of luck
