Brief Answer:
It is MOSTLY muscular spasm of neck muscles

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

After going through your query I concluded that you are having spasm of neck muscle as bending to opposite side cause pain. It may be related to wrong position of neck during sleep.

Treatment of it is rest to neck, analgesic (you are already taking) and muscle relaxant such as thiocholchoside. Vitamin B and C help in recovery. It is advised to not use pillow during sleep or use very thin pillow. You can discuss with your primary Doctor about it.

Hope your query gets answered. If you have any clarification, then please don't hesitate to write to me. I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health

Take care
