Brief Answer:
This is intestinal angina!

Detailed Answer:

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. I understand how terrible you must be feeling if after each mean or drink you would have severe abdominal pains like these.

Given the history of 3X bypass surgery, I am concerned that the vessels supplying the intestines have also developed a blockage. As such, after meals, the blood supply to the intestines is not sufficient to meet the high oxygen demands by the tissues and organs needed for proper digestion and absorption. This manifests with pains just like would have been expected in case of a heart related angina during exercise.

With the stomach swelling after eating, there could also be a component of gastropareisis. This means that the stomach is weak and fails to push food easily down the tract. This leads to early satiety and swelling of the stomach after eating. This is often accompanied by vomiting, nausea and regurgitation. It is more common in clients who have a longstanding history of diabetes.

I will suggest that you get evaluated by a Gastroenterologist. Examination and preliminary testing would provide more information to orient investigations, confirm diagnosis and establish a treatment plan to help with this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
