Brief Answer:
Unrelated to colonoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Pain in the chest and sneezing is not related to the colonoscopy. It might be an upper respiratory tract infection which is causing her to have several episodes of sneezing and painful nose. Pain that comes and goes which is sharp in nature is gastritis, here are my suggestions to you

1. Tab Omeprazole 20 mg once daily before food
2. Tab levocet once at night for the sneezing
3. Steam inhalation thrice daily
4. Tab Hysocine is the ideal drug for the pain
5. Avoid milk, milk products, caffeine and smoking
6. If the pain persists please get an ultra sound abdomen and chest x ray

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Brief Answer:
Pleuritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back

From the description you have given me it looks like the pain is arising is from the pleura.
Pleura is a sac lining your lungs. Most often infection of this pleural sac can lead to pain which is typically
1. More pain while breathing in
2. Less pain while sleeping on the same side
3. Low grade fever
4. Typically the pain is sharp pricking type.

Here is how you should go about it

1. Analgesics like tab aceclofenac, one tablet taken after food not more than twice daily
2. Get a chest x ray done to see if there is any fluid collection in this sac
3. The best doctor to approach for this pain a general physician
4. Most of the times viral pleuritis is self limiting however sometimes it will require treatment with antibiotics like levoflox

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
