Question: Good morning I have a pain in my gum over my lower back teeth and I also have swollen neck glands and a slight earache all on the left side? Is this just possibly a gum infection?

I have gone through your query, pain in gums in lower back tooth region can be due to inflammation in gums . See this inflammation in gums can be due to deposition of food debris , emotional stress , or carious tooth. As you are asking for swollen neck gland and Earache, Yes this swollen neck gland is seen in some patients with Oral infection , Earache is radiating pain . What I will suggest you you Do XXXXXXX warm saline gargle two - three times a day. You can apply ointment Gum paint twice daily on painful Gums. Do chlorhexidine mouthwash twice daily. Consult dentist and go for investigations Intra oral periapical radiograph if there is gum infection then consult your dentist and go for Scaling and root planning.
