default
Posted on Tue, 3 Feb 2015
Question: Since long period of time i have pain in my chest which last for few sec. and sometime for a minute or 2. Seems like a stoke which don't allow me to breath for sometimes. This happens in weekly or sometime after few months.
Last month i did ECG and it was reported that i have partial blockage.....
Could you please suggest what could be the possible cause..

Brief Answer:
Muscular pain most likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

This pain is likely to be muscular – from chest wall muscle…

This has no relation to the previous Tuberculosis

It is unlikely to be related to the allergy to drinking and smoking – allergy to the two risk factors for the heart problem may actually be a blessing in disguise - to protect from heart disease...

Your symptoms do not suggest Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) – pain from the heart is oppressing, in central chest (and left), worse on effort, relieved by rest, radiates to shoulders and arms, associated with sweating and so on.
The meaning of ‘partial blockage’ is not clear / RBBB? - Right Bundle Branch Block - which may be a normal variation in some; or has some right heart events and is unlikely to be the cause or consequence of the pain.
Your young age is also not in favour of heart as a cause.
Please scan and send the ECG for perusal. A chest X-ray, a Treadmill Exercise Electrocardiogram (TMT) and an ECHOcardiogram – will exclude any lingering doubt.
The treating doctor could conclude better, based on the total clinical picture

Good luck
God bless you
