Question: Yes please. i have had pain and soreness in my lower right side. i will be visiting a specialist on the colon . i have very sluggish and irritable bowel syndrome also and Fibromyalgia. a recent colonoscopy showed that the intestine was very troublesome and may have a twist. thank you very much XXXXX

Brief Answer: pain might be due to that only Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXX, Thanks for writing to HCM. Your pain can be due to your irritable bowel syndrome and the associated lazy bowel. The thing is, in lazy bowel the feaces gets accumulated and pulls down the bowel loops over which the other loops may get twisted leading to pain. You need to see your colon specialist as you have already decided, but if the pain gets severe the you might mean that the twist has complicated into an obstruction and may lead to even bowel gangrene, so keep a watch on that.
