Check for Blood Pressure and pulse, Neuro Examination and MRI Angio

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood that you are male / 91- trouble getting to sleep because of hearing of own pulse in the head.

Yes, it is in fact possible that there is some problem that is causing all this.

For this purpose I would advise you the following:
Physician's Check-up for the vitals - Blood pressure and pulse rate; General and local examination of Nervous system. Get a reference for Neurologist's check-up if felt necessary by your Physician / Doctor. On examination he would also prescribe some medicines as per the findings. Most of the medicines are prescription medicines hence can not be written on net.
MRI Angiography of the brain to see for / rule out aneurysm or any vascular deformity particularly around the ear apparatus. This is the only way to see what is inside.

I hope this answer helps you, Sir.
Please feel free to ask for more relevant queries if needed or if you feel that there is a gap-of-communication.

With Regards.
