Brief Answer:
It is likely to be cervical disc prolapse or muscular pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having cervical disc prolapse as you have been having pain in right chest peck and right shoulder as well as right wrist and occasional shooting pain in back. It is confirmed by MRI scan. Treatment of it is rest to neck and analgesic such as ibuprofen.Mecobalamin is helpful in recovery. It is advised to avoid pillow or use thin pillow during sleeping .

Second possibility is simple muscular pain . Treatment of it is again rest and analgesic but it take less time to recover. Vitamin B and C help in recovery.

Burning pain in heart area can be due to acidity as it is relieved by burp. It may be related to anxiety .Omeprazole is helpful in relieving it.

As you are also having shortness of breath .It again can be related to anxiety. But you can exclude heart related cause by ECG, echocardiography and stress test. Lung related causes can be excluded by chest x ray.

You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
Heartburn and shortness of breath may be related to your habits and fat.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back

After going through query and follow up query I want to say that burning pain in heart area can be due to acidity which can be caused by smoking, eating acidic food and poor diet.

Shortness of breath may be related to smoking and overweight.

Changing your eating habits, reducing weight and stopping smoking will be beneficial.

Rest has been already discussed. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.

I found a bump on my right chest by the collarbone, can a man have a cancerous bump in the breast
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr. Sudhir Kumar (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
Man can have a cancerous bump in the breast.

Detailed Answer:
HI
Welcome back

Man can have a cancerous bump in the breast, however it is a rare condition, accounting for only about 1% of all breast cancers. In other words breast cancer is 100 times less common in men than in women. A man's lifetime risk of developing breast cancer is about one in 1,000.

My expertise with bumps are limited, but the most likely cause of bumps on right chest by collar bone are lipoma , sebaceous cyst , or enlarged lymph gland as these are commonest cause of bump. An ultrasound scan and if needed a biopsy might be performed after a physical examination to confirm the cause. You should discuss with a general surgeon. Your primary care physician might be able to write the test or refer you to a surgeon.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
It can be rib protrusion.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back

After going through your query and follow up queries I want to say that it can be a protruded rib as it is attached to sternum and bony in consistency. A little protrusion (bump) of rib as compared to other side is very common and are normal and no treatment is required for them but it can be confirmed CT scan of chest . CT scan exclude other pathologies also. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

You think it can be lymphoma if it is a gland issue?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr. Sudhir Kumar (43 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Unlikely...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

As i said in my earlier reply, the lump most likely could be arising from the ribs. But if it is a gland issue it is not likely to be a lymphoma. I say this because commonest cause of lymph node enlargement is infection such as sore throat, viral infection and tuberculosis. Lymphoma is also a cause but it is not so common. It can be confirmed by fine needle aspirations cytology.

Before FNAC, your doctors might order for an ultrasound scan to confirm whether or not this lump is truly a gland tissue.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help. If you don't have further questions then you can close the query and rate the answer.

Brief Answer:
It is unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back

After query and follow up queries, I want to say that it doesn't seems to me a cancer. As you have said in earlier queries that it is bony so to declare it as cancer or definitely exclude it will require further investigations such as x ray, CT scan, MRI and biopsy. Rest has been already discussed.
