Brief Answer:
Bronchitis or Gatroesophageal reflux is the possibility.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Bronchitis or gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) is a possibility.

Do you have any yellowish or thick phlegm on coughing?

If there is yellowish phlegm then bacterial infection will be present and in such case antibiotics will be needed. I would suggest azithromycin in such case. X ray chest will be helpful to rule out other problems.

Over the counter Proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole (Nexium) will be helpful in case of GERD. Avoid analgesics like aleve as it can increase GERD.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
