Brief Answer:
common cold/otitis externa-needs evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having numbed ear lobe. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any ear pain or ear discharge ?

Kindly get back to me with the details so that I am better able to help you.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be due to common cold or due to otitis externa.

Numbness of ear lobe occurs due to sensory nerve damage secondary to multiple factors.

I suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon, get detailed ENT examination (common cold, history of trauma or surgery), blood tests (diabetes, peripheral neuropahy due to nutritional deficiencies). Treatment can be started, as per the findings.

Mean time, I suggest you to take multivitamins daily one.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Numbness is common during pregnancy due to hormonal changes (more progesterone ) or due to nutritional deficiencies.

Kindly discuss with your obstetrician.
