Your symptoms are caused by neck and scapulohumeral arthritis. Arthritis causes painful inflammation of the joints and it can affect nerves too. Numbness is caused by affected nerves.

To confirm the diagnosis you need a neck and scapulohumeral X-ray, fibrinogen test and a complete blood count. An electrocardiogram is also necessary in order to rule out a possible cardiac disease.

To treat arthritis you should take non steroidal anti inflammatory medications.
Chiropractic procedures can also help.
