Brief Answer: My reply is below. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank you for posting your query. I have noted your symptoms. First of all, I would like to reassure you that there is no serious neurological problem, as the MRI brain has come out as normal. The numbness could be due to vitamin deficiency, a viral infection, or some chemical disturbance in the brain. It may take 6-8 weeks time to recover. In addition to PETRIL MD, you can take vitamin B12 supplements (such as Methycobal 500 mcg once daily). Pregabalin capsules may also be helpful. I hope my reply has helped you. I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information. Sir, any insect bite causes this numbness in cheek, left arm and headache. because i felt some insect bitten me a week back i have doubt that can it be the reason for this numbness n heavy weakness. After that bite (One puncture on foot) i went to doctor and undergone blood test for snake bites as well. but everything was normal in that too. if this infection is due to such bites then this medicine (PETRIL MD and Mecobest plus) suits for that also if not please suggest something for that also...please kindly do the needful. Thank you sir.
