No smoking. Borderline diabetes. No headaches. In evening I sit in a lounge chair with my feet up 2 or 3 hrs. When I get up lower back aches. Could that put pressure on a nerve?

Brief Answer:
This is due to neuropathy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
sitting in lounge chair for few hours is not going to cause any trouble. This is slow degenerative process and takes months to develop. As you are also having borderline Diabetes so you are more prone for neuropathy. I have following suggestions for you.
1. Start taking tablet Pregabalin M one at night time.
2.Tablet calcium and vitamin D3 daily.
3. Tablet Carnisure one daily.
Discuss with your doctor before start taking these drugs. These tablets will improve your nerve strenght, If still problem remains or increase than you need to see a neurolgist and get MRI of the spine.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
