What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Hands And Feet?

Question: I have intermittent tingling and numbness of hands and feet. All lab work normal, great good cholesterol, bad cholesterol low. Fasting blood sugar is 80. I have afib well controlled and I am on Diltizam and Inderal, and warfarin. INR 1.9. No other health problems. I am 69 years old female who is a nurse and still work part time.
Any thoughts on intermittent tingling and numbness.

hi
so you have peripheral neuropathy
most common cause of neuropathy is diabetes, or alcohol or vitamin B deficiency.
other common causes are renal failure, hypothyroidism, heavy metal poisoning etc.
if you donot have diabetes, just rule out other causes , see a physician for complete evaluation

but from my experience, mostly all investigations are normal and we just symptomatically...
