Brief Answer:
Clopidogrel and bleeding

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you have bleeding from your medication. This very common. The only way to reverse the bleeding is to actually stop the medication and your body will metabolize the medication. It will take about 1-2 weeks to get the medication and its effects out of your blood. If you are still having episodes of bleeding then there maybe something else causing the bleeding. If you are taking aspirin for instance that will cause bleeding. Stopping the Aspirin will help but that also will take 1-2 weeks to recover from.

If you still have bleeding an you are not on either medication then you should see your medical provider. you may have bronchitis or other lung inflammation causing the blood on your sputum.
