What Causes Nausea And Frequent Loose Stool?

default
Posted on Sat, 20 Sep 2014
Question: I have nausea all day. My stomach feels like there is a lump in it always. I have loose stools or diareah (sp) several times a day. I feel very nauseas, sweaty, gasy, and must use the bathroom 1 hour after eating anything. I can only eat non-dairy, non-gluten, foods. I cannot eat fruit (except dried, or blueberries & bananas). I feel ill all of the time and it worsens when I eat. I eat 1,100 calories at most a day, but I am not loosing weight. Any ideas what is wrong with me?

Brief Answer:
it could be IBS

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your query. Your symptoms point towards what is called as IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) - Diarrhea predominant type.

A colonoscopy can confirm the same.

You must continue the non-diary and non-gluten diet. follow this strictly.

Management of IBS would be symptomatic and patient education about the same.

Regards,
