Brief Answer:
A few factors in play, so regular check ups should be scheduled

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Yes, there have been several cases of individuals on tramadol who have reported to have seizures, but from my experience most of these cases are due to either of the following:

+Long term use of the medication
+Other underlying contributing factors
+History of seizures
+Mostly seizures are seen during withdrawal of the drug

I would also advise an EEG on a regular basis just to make sure you are safe and all is going well with the treatment as well. I would also like you to know that I am always here to help, so please feel free to write back to me for any further information or clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Please do not withdraw without a doctors supervision

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Please only go ahead with weaning off the medication under supervision of your doctor and not on yourself for best and safest results. You are indeed on the medication for long, and so I would recommend regular medical check ups just to make sure all is well.

But after analysing your history, I feel seizures are unlikely in your case and so I also feel you should not be worried. Please also feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
