What Causes Movable Lump In Leg?
Question: Why would swelling move out of one leg and into the other in one night, with the knee pain which i didn't have in other leg?
Brief Answer:
Likely to be fluid retention
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
If the swelling is of a joint like the knee or the ankle, it is likely to be a migratory polyarthritis which is often a reactive arthropathy.
If it's a generalized swelling and if it forms a small dimple when you exert pressure with your thumb, it's water retention due to several causes. A common cause is the use of NSAID group of medicine for the knee pain.
