Brief Answer: Detailed answer below. Detailed Answer: Hi and welcome, I completely understand your problem and it is a very common issue. You have not mentioned the first day of your last menstrual period before the sexual episode. However it seems that now it is more than 3 weeks since you had sex. [I am guessing as I do not have the dates of period and sexual episode] You had bleeding for 4-5 days after the episode on approximately day 17-20. All the urine tests have been done and are negative. As the date of last period is not mentioned, just check if the tests were done at least 3 weeks after the date of sex. If they were done after 3 weeks and are still negative, then there is no pregnancy. If you have taken the test earlier than 3 weeks, repeat it after 3 weeks are over from the date of sex. I pill delays period. So if 2nd was the date of regular period expect it to be delayed by 2-3 weeks. Do not get stressed. Stress also delays periods. If the periods are delayed beyond 3 weeks then you will need evaluation for other causes like ovarian cysts, hormonal issues and so on. As of now, if the pregnancy test is negative 3 weeks after the sexual episode there is no pregnancy. So do not worry. Just wait. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Hi, let me give u the dates... I had my last periods on 5th march and had sex on 13th march and took ipill on 15th march.. I had slight bleeding for 4-5 days after 7-10 days of taking ipill,i.e, between 22nd-25th march.. But thr bleeding was vry less not like usual periods because there was no blood cloth.. So my next periods date was on 2nd april but i missed and i did the home pregnancy test on 9th,10th and 15th april and the results were negative. Today is 16th april still no periods.

Brief Answer: Thanks for the details. Detailed Answer: Hi and welcome back, Thanks a lot, the dates are a huge help. You had sex on 13 [ day 9 of cycle, just the beginning of fertile period relatively low risk], Bleeding on 22, so the next cycle will be delayed at least till 22 or maybe a week more. Last pregnancy test was done on 15th April, that is 4 weeks after sexual episode and is still negative. Inference: You are definitely not pregnant. The period are delayed because of the I pill or other cause like hormones, ovarian cysts. Most likely the I pill is delaying the period. So wait till 29th April. If still no period then get evaluated for other causes. No need to worry at all. Hope that this helps to clarify matters. Please feel free for any further queries. Dr Madhuri

Brief Answer: I sure is for ovulation detection not pregnancy. Detailed Answer: Hi and welcome back, I am very glad that you asked this question. I checked and reconfirmed several times. 'I sure' is used to predict ovulation and not pregnancy. 'I can' is the one used to detect pregnancy. So please check again what is mentioned on the label. Is it ovulation predicting kit or pregnancy detection kit. As far as my knowledge goes it is used to detect ovulation and not pregnancy. If it is so then please recheck using velocit or pregcolor, or preganews. Velocit is the best. Use first morning urine sample to test. I understand that this changes the diagnosis now as we do not have an idea of the test result. But since I pill has been used, most likely it will be negative. Please recheck and let me know. Good morning, i hav taken the rest again this morning with velocit home pregnancy test kit... The result is negative. But i have heard that there are some women whoes HCG level is so low that sometimes such kits could not detect it. So do i have to do some more test or is it ok and wait till 29th april to get my next periods..

Brief Answer: Just wait. Detailed Answer: Hi and welcome, As of now, please do not take any more tests. The HCG level by today for a pregnancy conceived on 13th March must be high enough to be detected by velocit. If velocit is negative, means that most likely there is no pregnancy. In women where the HCG is undetectable more than a month after the sexual episode it is more likely a missed abortion. If it is negative then just wait till 29th. No need to do anything else. Do not worry. Just take a short walk morning and evening to tone up the hormones and it will help. Regards. Dr Madhuri
