Brief Answer:
Hormonal disorders or pathology

Detailed Answer:
Hello, there are usually two kinds of reasons that causes menstrual problems in your age group. either there is a hormonal disorder or there might be some uterine pathology like cysts etc. both may also be related at times . in your case if pregnancy has been ruled out then some further tests may be need to be done to detect any hormonal disorders . blood tests for hormones and a pelvic ultrasound are needed. most hormonal problems can be treated with medication, diet and exercise . tab medroxy progesterone twice daily for 5 days is the course . menses usually start within 2 weeks. wait and watch till then. otherwise further tests need to be done.
