What Causes Memory Loss?

default
Posted on Mon, 28 Jul 2014
Question: I am facing memory loss issue. Around 2 years back, when I was in college, I felt that I have started forgetting conversations which I had with my friends. Around 18 months back, this problem increased so I consulted a psychiatrist. I also got a CT Scan done back then but it was normal. The psychiatrist prescribed me the following medicines which I did not start:
Cut E - Vitamin C & E
Netlift - Piracetam 1200mg
Mycostarr - Citicolin 500mg
Storvas LP - Vitamin B
I joined my job 1 year back. Since starting, I felt the need of writing things down during discussion for reference later on. In past 6 months, I have seen that my vocabulary has weakened and I am unable to recall the words for the thoughts I want to convey.
Please suggest solution to my problem. I have not taken any medication for this so far.
