Brief Answer: Age related.Evaluation required.rarely fluoxetine Detailed Answer: Hi XXXX I went through the query and understood your concern. Since your father is 82 years now, the low memory loss can be due to age related or also very rarely due to the drug fluoxetine. Amlopidine, HCTZ and aspirin cannot be related to this problem and your father should continue this. I would refer him to a neurologist who after clinical examination will perform brain scanning and blood test to rule out other common memory problems like Alzheimer disease, age related or due to nutritional deficiency. We can consider medication induced memory impairment only after ruling out other causes. Hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask if any further queries and I will be glad to answer them. Wish you good health. Regards
