Question: I filled out the health page with symptoms. Any idea's what direction my Doctor should be looking? If has been 4 years now with no real diagnosis. Foggy thinking most of the time, Memory difficulty, Body Aches usually in my arms, neck and upper back, tripping over nothing, tremors/shaking inside, squeezing feeling of my torso and bicep area. These symptoms come and go. Foggy thinking and memory trouble are most every day as well as tripping (new symptom). Sometimes when all the symptoms collect if feels like a storm in my body. It can be once, twice or three times a year where It becomes totally dibilitating. The one symptom I did forget is fatigue/constant. I must nap every afternoon.

Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that it is very difficult to give you a diagnosis based on the history alone but still we can discuss the possibilties . In my opinion you are suffering from a disease entity called Fibromyalgia which can have all these symptoms including persisting fatigue which incapaciates the patient so that she is unable to perform even the activities of daily life .
Memory difficulties are also a part of that . Plus there are lot of fluctuations in mood and symptoms . It also requires to be seen if there are any tender points although they may not be present . You should see a rheumatologist for this .
Take care.
