Posted on Fri, 3 Jun 2016
Question: I have a pin head sized hard speck like lumps/dots (same size on both) on both my testicles. They are in same place on both. They dont hurt and are near where the testicles are held by whatever it is they are held by feels like veins and sacs. (sorry not familiar with terms). Does it sound like cancer. Im 29 year old white male, no cancer history in family.

Brief Answer:
Its not cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Good day and thank you for being with healthcare magic! I believe what you are feeling in the testis could be the epididymis (tub structures that connects the testis to thr ejaculatory duct. Also some cysts may be palpated in the scrotum and these cysts are benign masses that doesnt cause any health problems.

To be clear with you i don't think it is cancer since it is present on both testes.
To be really sure i would suggest doing a scrotal ultrasound with doppler to be certain that nothing is wrong with you.

It doesnt feel connected to anything though. Jist the testicle. But up towards where all the tubes/sacs are. Still
Not cancer in your opinion. ??

Brief Answer:
Yes it is not cancer.

Detailed Answer:
If it is outside or extra testicular then iw would be a benign mass 90% of the time but if it is within the testis (intratesticular) then it should be treated as cancer unless proven otherwise.

Yes in my opinion i wouldnt worry about it and i think it is not cancer. But i still would want you to do a scrotal ultrasound so we may have peace of mind.

Lump within the testicle?

Detailed Answer:
Is the lump within the testicle or around the testicles with the other accessory organs inside the scrotum?

Its very small like pin sized on the surface of the testicle inside the scrotum. Near accesory orgsns. But on surface of testicle. Very small painless .

Brief Answer:
If it is in the surface then you need an ultrasound.

Detailed Answer:
If it is on the surface of the testicle then i would urge you to get a scrotal ultrasound to determine if you really have a testicular mass. It would be the best way and the safest way since the ultrasound is non invasive and doesnt expose you to radiation.
