What Causes Lump With Bruising Below The Crease Of Elbow?

Question: I had a lump appear with bruising just below my crease in arm by elbow. I did not hit it or anything it just appeared. I went for ultrasound - no blood clot. Dr. Now saying I have to get a biopsy - what are the possible reasons for this.

As per your description, it looks like a Lipoma. It is collection of fat,which is soft.In this case,entire swelling can be removed under local anaesthesia and send it for histopathological examination(Biopsy ).
If the swelling is hard and fixed,some part of it has to be removed surgically and send it for histopathological examination.
Exact diagnosis will be confirmed. It gives a clue for next procedure.
