What Causes Lower Right Back Pain And Low Grade Fever?

Question: I'm having lower right back pain and I've been running a low grade fever all day. The highest it's gotten is 99.5. I'm fatigued, I slept till 3:30 pm yesterday. What could be wrong?

Brief Answer: You may be suffering from viral fever. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXX Thanks for writing to HCM You may be suffering from viral fever.It is generally associated with body malaise. Viral fever is generally self limiting in nature and only require supportive treatment. But antibiotics are prescribed due to chances of superadded infection. You can take tablet Levofloxacin 500 mg once daily for five days. For fever you can take tablet Paracetamol 500 mg SOS.If temperature is > 100 degree fahrenheit then sponging of whole body can be done. It is also important to know about burning micturition.It is also associated with low backache and fever. You need few investigations like routine hemogram,Urine RE/ME,Ultrasound of abdomen.Further investigations can be done if needed. Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question.
