Brief Answer:
chances are that there is a change in position of the stones

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query,

I have read through your query carefully.
I would like to know a few details related
- have you undergone any investigations like abdominal x ray or Ct scan?
- If so kindly attach the reports here so that I can have a look at it.
- also would like to know, what are the symptoms you are experiencing apart from lower left abdominal pain?

The medications prescribed for you by your doctor is to:
decrease any urinary spasm that you may have while passing out stones;
a pain killer which is effective in reducing pain,
an anti- emetic to reduce any nausea or vomiting that you may feel due to the intensity of pain respectively.

Since your symptoms seems to have relieved a little bit, chances are that there is a change in position of the stones along your urinary tract. Also flomax that you have taken may have added in relieving your symptoms.

You are required to drink plenty of water (2 litres at the least) which would aid in the easy passage of stones through the urine. Also you may also make some necessary changes in your diet such as reducing foods rich in calcium and phosphates, as chances of recurrence is more.

Please feel free to discuss further, I would be pleased to assist you further
Thanks and regards
