As your bowel movements are normal, You may not have any Irritable bowel disease or bowel obstruction. If you are my patient, i will prescribe Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole or Pantaprazole for a week or 2 weeks. If you have relief or decrease in abdominal pain, then it is a peptic ulcer. Further it can be confirmed by Upper OesphagealGastroduedonoscopy to confirm the ulcer or gastritis and where exactly ulcer is either duodenum or stomach or it is a just a inflammation ( Gastritis). I will recommend you rule out a bacterial infection called H.Pylori infection by Urea breath test and antibodies.
