Brief Answer:
Immediate evaluation is advised as following to decide best treatment...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are in.

1. Back pain in both sides of your kidneys is suggestive for possible kidney problem. Taking into account your personal history, I think it is time for immediate evaluation to determine what is causing the pain :
- urine analysis
- abdominal ultrasound

2. Dark urine is suggestive for possible high concentrated urine. This might be related to reduction of water consumption.

Taking into account that you have noted some blood, and previous history of kidney stones, then then dark urine might be attributed to blood deriving by laceration of urinary tract mucosa by stones or infection (which will be further evaluated by the above mentioned tests).

3. For the moment, I advise to:
- if cannot manage to schedule an immediate appointment with your family doctor, then, should go to ER and get immediate evaluation and treatment there
- drink plenty of water
- take OTC urine alkalinizers (containing magnesium citrate)
- reduce salt intake
- have light meals

4. You are also saying to have developed a cold. It is true that cold will aggravate the kidney problems. Still further tests are needed to decide best treatment strategy.

Wish fast recovery! Let me know if you need further assistance!
