Brief Answer: likely urinary tract infection Detailed Answer: HI, thanks for using healthcare magic A yeast infection would present first with a vaginal discharge ( usually white or yellow), vaginal itching. The scratching that occurs causes small breaks in the vaginal skin which would then cause the discomfort on urination. It would not be associated with increased frequency of urination. Based on the history of increased frequency , abdominal discomfort/pressure, it is more likely that you are in the early stages of a urinary tract infection. Other symptoms that may or may not occur are: change in the odour or colour of the urine, urgency to urinate, fever, nausea and vomiting In some persons , in the early stages it may be possible to prevent full infection by the use of cranberry juice. In most cases however , antibiotics would be needed. Treatment summary: (1)copious fluids (can use water or cranberry juice) to flush the bacteria (2)antibiotics may be needed I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
