What Causes Lower Abdomen Pain After Colonoscopy?

default
Posted on Thu, 18 Dec 2014
Question: I had a colonoscopy last Wednesday and am still experiencing pain in my lower abdomen. However, the pain is lessening a little each day. I also have a very large bruise on my abdomen between my navel and pubic hair. I've had two previous colonoscopies and never had a bruise. The bruise is not painful but seems strange.

ct scan of whole abdomen

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since you are having pain in lower abdomen and also a bruise after colonoscopy I would advise you to ct scan of whole abdomen.
To reduce the pain you can take drotaverine tablets with doctors advise.
The internal organs of abdomen has to be checked and seen whether any injury has occurred to them or not.
